New Hope Presbyterian Church
All Are Welcome!
New Hope is a new church development founded by members of the former Fain Presbyterian and New Covenant Presbyterian churches. Our new hope envisions a Church that is as welcoming as God’s grace, as loving as God’s heart, and as reconciling as God’s Word.
Presbyterian is one of many expressions of Christ’s universal Church. Presbyterians approach any statements about God with humility. We measure all our theological statements on the unique and authoritative witness to God in Jesus Christ. Presbyterian describes our way of governing ourselves. We are governed by elders, nominated and elected by members of the congregation, under the Book of Confessions and the Book of Order of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
Church is a community of diverse people seeking to grow in knowledge and relationship with Jesus Christ, to bear witness to the goodness of the Kingdom of God, and to reach out in compassion to the world to bring wholeness to the lives of all God’s children.
Our mission is to glorify God through Reformed worship, diverse membership, mission outreach, and dedication to God's creation.
Mindful of Paul's request (Romans 15:7) to "accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God," we will welcome everyone.
Mindful of Christ's admonition (Matthew 25:40) that "whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me," we will endeavor to serve, help, and support those in need.
Mindful of God's gift to humankind (Genesis 1:28) allowing us to "rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground," we will strive to protect and preserve our natural world.
